At 5,890m Baden Powell Scout Peak, named by the Nepalese Government in 2007 in honour of the Centenary of World Scouting, sits within the Ganesh Himal area of the Langtang Himalaya in Nepal. Situated near the Chinese border, it offers perfect views of Langtang II, Langtang Lirung (7234 m), Dorje Lakpa (6966 m) and Shishapangma (8013 m) in Tibet.

The sixteen day expedition to Baden Powell Scout Peak is truly off the beaten track and the villages you will pass through, which are mostly Sherpa and Tibetan, will give you an insight into a culture not changed yet by modernisation and allowing you the opportunity to experience true Nepalese mountain life.

The summit route we use makes this a perfectly attainable peak for the regular hillwalker or trekker with experience of using crampons and ice axe and you will be guided by experienced and Government licensed Climbing Sherpas and supported with a local cook team and porters as well as an English speaking guide and British medical team.

Baden Powell Peak is sure to eventually become one of the more popular trekking peaks of Nepal but we are getting in early!

Choose it as a personal challenge or choose it to raise funds for your chosen charity. The choice is yours.
